Beartown
Located in Pochahontas County just 37 miles north of Glace. This National State Park is a natural area of 107 acres made up of unusual rock formations, crevasses and large boulders. A boardwalk leads you through the park for easy access. Open April through October.
Town of Lewisburg
Located in Greenbriar County 15 miles from Glace. Shopping, dining and historic buildings make up this small but robust town.
Greenbrier State Forest
Only 7.4 miles from Glace. Cabin rentals are avilable April through October.
National Radio Astronomy Observatory (NRAO)
80 miles north of Glace located in Pochahontas County. This observatory is home to the world's largest fully sterrable single aperture antenna as well as many other telescopes.
